POWER PLATFORM GOVERNaNCE

Do you know what your teams are building on Power Platform right now?

Most organizations that have adopted Power Platform and Copilot cannot answer that question. Apps are being built outside IT's visibility. Automations are moving sensitive data through unreviewed workflows. When something goes wrong, there is no audit trail and no clear owner.

This is not a technology problem. It is a governance problem. And it gets worse every week you wait.

What Ungoverned Power Platform Adoption Looks Like

Shadow IT

Apps and automations built outside IT's visibility. No security review, no compliance check, no ownership.

Sensitive Data Exposure

Customer, member, and financial data flowing through automations nobody has reviewed or approved.

No Audit Trail

No record of what was built, who built it, or what data it touches. When something goes wrong, you are starting from zero.

Compliance Exposure

Regulated industries face real liability when automated workflows are not documented or controlled.

Knowledge Walking Out the Door

When someone leaves, their automations keep running with no owner and no documentation.

Runaway Licensing Costs

Ungoverned adoption drives platform licensing costs up with no visibility into what is actually being used.

Deliverables

What YTG Delivers

This is a fixed-price, deliverable-based engagement. YTG installs and configures the Microsoft Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) Starter Kit within your existing Microsoft tenant using Microsoft-recommended practices. The scope is defined, the timeline is fixed, and the outcome is clear.

Step 1:
CoE Environment Setup

YTG configures the core CoE environments within your Power Platform tenant, establishing the foundation for governance.

Step 2:
CoE Starter Kit Installation

Full installation of the Microsoft Power Platform CoE Starter Kit using Microsoft-recommended practices.

Step 3: Validation and Walkthrough

YTG validates baseline functionality and delivers a full knowledge transfer walkthrough of the configured CoE components with your team.

What Comes Next

After the Center Of Excellence installation is complete, organizations typically explore additional governance work based on their specific needs. These are separate engagements and not included in the base CoE installation:

  • Power Platform governance strategy and operating model design
  • CoE customization and solution extensions
  • Data Loss Prevention policy design and implementation
  • Ongoing CoE operational support
  • Governance maturity assessment and roadmap development

Most organizations discover risks they did not know existed in the first session.

Schedule a 30-minute Architecture Review. We will assess your Power Platform environment, identify your governance gaps, and tell you exactly what it would take to fix them.
